   Hello, my name is Chris "Catfish" Dyer. I was born in 1973. I'm the proud father of one son, Chris Dyer Jr. Living in Guernsey county all my life, which is located in southeastern Ohio, I have been fishing as early as I can remember. I have caught lots of fish, but when I got a hold of my first flathead catfish, I was hooked.
   Since then I have made it a goal to catch the state record, if not the world record, by fishing lakes, ponds, rivers, and creeks. I've learned a lot over the years chasing that goal. As a result, a lot of my friends started calling me "Catfish Chris" which just seemed to stick with me over the years.
   I have been featured and mentioned in the local newspaper, radio stations, outdoor events, articles of magazines and even on the cover of a few. I have also caught the attention of several outdoor TV shows which I am hoping to be a part of in the near future. At the present time, I'm the owner and operator of Fish-On Catfish Guide Services.    With the exception of me enjoying fishing which is obvious, I enjoy many other things too. I coach my son's baseball team, help with the operation of Red Lane's Haunted Trail, and of course hunting.
